I use photobucket, prob something better and kind of old but not changing something I finally figured out. It pretty much walks you through it...trust me if I figured it out.... anyone can. Once you download your photos, just a matter of hitting their "upload" button, which takes you to the photos file on your computer. Click the photo you want and it uploads it to photobucket. Then it will give you a list of links underneath it, copy/past that link into your message and hit preview just to make sure...

If you have detailed instructions, it might make a good sticky at the top of every forum. Admins?

Already there! It's in the FAQ area of each forum catagory.

Here's the detailed instructions for posting pictures which I messaged to basscatlildave:

The short answer to how to add pictures to forum postings is that you don’t insert the picture into the posting. Instead, you upload the picture to a service such as Photobucket, and then insert the IMG code for the uploaded photo into the posting. When you click on “submit” or “post,” the picture will appear in your posting, rather than the IMG code. Here’s how I add photos to a forum posting:

1. Open a Photobucket account. Go to http://photobucket.com/ and open an account.
2. Resize the pictures you want to post. If you post pictures at full resolution, they’ll be excessively big for a forum posting. There are a number of ways to reduce the size of pictures, depending on the software which you have on your computer, but here’s how I resize pictures: (a) I browse to the “my pictures” file which contains the pictures, so I’m looking at all the thumbnails of the pictures which are in that file, (b) I right click on the picture I want to post, click on “open with,” then click on “Microsoft Office.” (c) In Microsoft Office, I go to the menu bar at the top of the page, click on “picture,” then click on “resize.” A menu will open in the upper right corner of the window which offers various resizing options. In “predefined width x height,” I click on “web – large 640 x 480 px.” Click on “OK.” The picture will reduce in size. (d) In the menu bar at the top of the Microsoft Office page, I click on “file,” then “save as.” In the “save as” menu, the number of the picture will appear, which will be something like PA9010.jpg. I add an “a” after the numbers, so it’s PA9010a.jpg. Close the window. If you go back to the my pictures file which contains the photo, there will now be the original full-resolution photo (PA9010.jpg), and a lower-resolution photo (PA9010a.jpg). This seems complicated, and there are a lot of steps, but once you get familiar with the process it goes real fast.
3. Upload the picture to Photobucket. Go to Photobucket, sign in, and click on the orange “upload” button in the upper center of the window. When the upload window opens, click on “choose photos and videos.” This will open a windows explorer window. Browse to the “My Pictures” file which contains the photos you want to upload. Hold down the control key, and click on each photo you want to upload. When all the pictures you want to upload are highlighted, hit enter. You will return to Photobucket, and the pictures will upload to your library.
4. Insert the IMG code for the photo in your posting. Start a posting. When you get to the point where you want to insert a photo in the posting, switch to Photobucket, open your library, and double left click on the thumbnail of the photo you want to post. A window will open with a larger version of the photo. To the right of the photo is a box labeled “links to share this photo.” The bottom option is “IMG,” which has a box which contains a link like [URL+http://blahblahblah]. Left click on that box, which will save the link. Go back to the place in your posting where you want to insert the photo. Put your cursor there, right click, and click “paste.” The IMG code will be inserted into your posting. When you click on “submit” or “Post,” your posting will be posted, and the picture will appear in the posting.
5. Inserting a lot of IMG codes into a posting. If you want to insert a lot of pictures in a posting, it can be a hassle to keep switching back and forth between Photobucket and the forum. To reduce the hassle, I write my posting as a Word document, and insert all the IMG codes for the pictures into the Word document. Then I copy the Word document, start a new topic, label the topic, and then paste the Word document into the posting. Then I click on “submit” or “post,” the posting will be posted, and all the pictures will appear in the posting.

This may seem complicated at first, but you can get really fast at doing it.
