Hello,

I just sold my old hobie revolution 13, and am buying a new outback, I plan on getting a Humminbird PiranhaMax 197C DI, I was just curious if I will be about to use the new fish finder opening with this particular finder? Also anyone can comment if the down imaging will work with the plastic mount?

I know there is a Humminbird kit hobie sells but I am not sure if this transducer will work

Thanks in advance
Dan

The Humminbird PiranhaMax 197C DI comes standard with the XNT 9 DI T transducer, which will fit in the Lowrance Ready cavity with the use of Humminbird Adapter kit (part no. 84505901). As for the down imaging performance with the Lowrance Ready mounting plate: as long as there is a slight gap between the bottom of the transducer and the mounting plate, your reading will be great.
