PA17 - 2017 - does not feel heavy when pedaling

I thought I will have a hard time moving this kayak..I was surprised yesterday as I was able to move it forward without putting that much effort with a 250 lbs passenger who does not want to pedal because of some leg injury. I think it helped when a heavy passenger sits at the rear and myself infront (150 lbs) making the bow pointing above the water surface. I know what to do now when I go out solo with this kayak, I can put the same weight at the back like 2 to 3 batteries for the xi5 motorguide trolling motor plus my yeti cooler spread out sitting at the back which should take care my full day trolling requirement.
