I thought I will have a hard time moving this kayak..I was surprised yesterday as I was able to move it forward without putting that much effort with a 250 lbs passenger who does not want to pedal because of some leg injury. I think it helped when a heavy passenger sits at the rear and myself infront (150 lbs) making the bow pointing above the water surface. I know what to do now when I go out solo with this kayak, I can put the same weight at the back like 2 to 3 batteries for the xi5 motorguide trolling motor plus my yeti cooler spread out sitting at the back which should take care my full day trolling requirement. More to come about this kayak...
