Time to say howdy. We live in Colorado, and we have 2 2014 Revo 13's in Florida at our son's home. Need some suggestions. Given that we have the original seats and my wife gets a sore back, me,less often, we need to not sit in water and have back support. What would be some replacement seats that we should look at or make ourselves? Would appreciate the help. Just4grins.

I had the same exact problem. After a few hours my back would ache, and I was not very fond of sitting in a puddle. I also kept sliding down in that seating position. I could not come up with anything that would fit in the space of the standard seat. I ended up selling the 2014 and getting a 2016 with the raised seat. It's a world of difference, just like sitting in a lawn chair. Good luck in your search for a solution. I'd be interested to find out if you come up with something.

Thanks for your response. I'm going to try really hard to not have to buy 2 newer kayaks. I do have a few ideas, we'll see.

I get you with not wanting to buy 2 new ones. What about this ? Looks more comfortable than the ones you have, and gets you up out of the water. I've made a few purchases from ACK.
