Just picked up an original model livewell on the cheap. Looking for some tips or tricks for use on my Outback. The original battery no longer holds a charge. And the cover over the battery is missing. Also the switch is very difficult to cycle. Thanks in advance!

Replacement batteries are available on the Hobie Website, or you can use any other 6V Sealed lead acid battery that will fit in that spot.
