oh yeah, and a note for the lucky ones who get to fly...

abbotsford is closest, Vancouver works, and so does bellingham (if you don't want to fly into canada).
Seattle is also an option and a ride may be arranged with someone from the area

Even I'll admit I'm a bit paranoid. Just as long as the man with rubber glove doesn't have both hands on my shoulders.

It's the "MONSTER ROAD TRIP TRAILER"

Here's the scene: I'm 2800 miles from home, with (8)boats, which (7) of aren't not mine, with Karl, dealing with government people, and my name is MURPHEY ....

Could this be a situation fraut with .... potential .... issues ??? Do you think ??? HMmmmm .... mmmm

Doesn't sound like the boats will be much of an issue. The two dozen kg's of coke stuffed in the gas tank might be a bigger issue. [img]http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/images/smilies/93C_peelout[1].gif[/img]

That be one of them there jokes by the way.Image

Karl/ Harry...
like we've said before...
getting the stuff into Canada won't be the issue....

it'll be getting all the BC Bud ( and i don't mean beer) back into the US that you have to worry about...

Everyone remember to bring passports. And if you don't have one, get one and don't wait till the last minute. There is a bit of a wait involved.

Let me reiterate Peters sentiment about US passports. If you don't have one and you are going to this regatta make sure you apply this week. It took Liza months to get her passport renewed before we went to Basil last year. We probably would have not been able to go had we not gotten our congresswoman involved.

I was able to pay something extra and get it rushed through. Took 5 or 6 weeks for me to renew, but that was 4 years ago.

Bob's point is good advice. Apply now if you do not have one. With all the new passport requirements for coming INTO the USA, the State Department is overwhelmed and under-staffed to meet the sudden increase in demand. That is why it is taking so long to process. I was in the same boat as Liza last summer. Even with paying the expedite fee, it took me 3 months just to get a renewal.

Plan ahead and do it now. The fall back is to have a government issued photo ID and birth certificate. But passports rule.

I used to buy Old Milwaukee for $5.00 a 12 pack. Inflation proof beer. It still only like $6.99/12 25 years later. Love it.
