We are on site at the Santa Brabara Yacht club has of yesterday afternoon. Many teams from around the world are arriving today... some have been her for several weeks. The weather could not be better! Beautiful sunny day today with excellent outlook for the week ahead.

Here are a few pictures of the initial setup area we are using for charter boats. We will be moving to the event parking area this afternoon.

We moved into our camp spots that we will have all week. 50 plus motor homes will be here. Nice! I am looking out at the Pacific... about 75 yards away. We have a high speed wireless setup that is reading 48 Mbps at this point. Not bad! I will be uploading pictures and video from here. We will be checking out the charter boats and the IHCA will be registering, weighing and measuring. All the boats should be on the beach this afternoon.

It is crystal clear. The wind is predicted to be up for the next 4 days. It was howling last night. Yesterday it was easily over 20 and likely 25-30 out in the channel. This morning is light and slightly offshore, but I can see wind off shore.

Hope to get more pictures up this afternoon. It will settle down a bit and I should be online most of the days after that. We started with a power problem first this morning. Tried to print and bam... Weak breaker on an extension cord.

More later!

The Official Tiger Worlds Website is where video and pictures are now posted. Check there for daily updates... as many times a day as I can do!

Matt,

From watching the headcam video it looks like Greg and Jacque are sailing the latest 2005 Tiger. The video is so quick due to Jacque rapid head movements that it is difficult to make these out. They may have made also some mods to the rigging -- such as the sheets. I'm a poor slob who could not make the Worlds. Could you do me a favor and take some pictures of their new boat and show how the new Tiger setup differs from prior, and photograph how they have changed its rigging and sheets?

For that matter, if you could photo anything that's interesting across the fleet regarding setups, that would be very interesting and helpful.

Thanks

Will do...

I have not been watching this forum as I have to concentrate on the Worlds site at the moment. So, I will get back when I can. Being beach captain and video, picture and story updater can be a wild ride!
