Does anyone actually adjust the outhaul on the 16? It's not a loose-footed sail, I can't imagine a need to adjust it after you set it.
I set mine and then tie it up so I don't get caught on it tacking.
I got my trap-hook caught on the shroud racing a 17 last year - it made me drop the mainsheet, which was still cleated...and the boat slowly came over on top of me

On the plus side, I have enough weight to right a 17 in medium air!
