On my i11s, with the upgraded spectra steering lines, I'm experiencing a strange phenomenon: when dry, the lines become loose. I would tension the lines correctly at the rudder after a fishing trip, and 2-3 days later there's slight play in the steering.
Coming off a 3 week hiatus from fishing, the lines are completely loose; turning the steering knob barely engages the rudder at all. I'm assuming that this is due to the lines being completely dry, and that there's a significant wet/dry tension difference in the spectra.
Anyone else experiencing this change?
