I have a question about the wheel cart, where does it go once you get the boat into the water? Do people just store it on the boat or take it back to your vehicle when done?

Thank you!

I leave it ashore if I can, which isn't often. Otherwise stow it in the back.

You can also break the cart down by removing the cotter pins - just don't lose them overboard!

Here goes my rant about the Hobie cart for about the thousandth time...

If I had it to do over I would have gotten a strap-on cart instead. Most are designed to stow easily. The bigger problem is the Hobie cart fits in the mirage well rather than under the rear cargo area. You can't rig anything heavy in the cargo area until you're done carting since the center of gravity isn't over the wheels. You need to pile all your crap over the mirage well until you get to the launch. A strap-on cart you can place anywhere you need to balance the boat.

i put it in the front... use the cord to secure it
puting at the back may sometimes get in the way with the rudder
