I picked up the turbo fins to upgrade and read through the instructions for installation. After moving the fins, it says to remove the mast by straightening and pulling out the cotter pin, I do not have cotter pins. So instructions say to back out the set screw partially and the mast will be free to pull out. I do not have any set screw visible either. The pics in the instructions do not show either style, I cannot find where these cotter pins or set screws are supposed to be on my drive. The only youtube video is from 2008 and an older style drive. Can someone help me figure how to remove the masts? Thanks,

Daniel

yes, V2 and GT drives use threaded masts and the Turbo Fin upgrade kit comes with a tiny locktite tube...sounds like you got the V1 Turbo Fin kit...
