I don't think there's a better platform for early season togging than a pedal yak. The boats can't anchor in that close, and you'll lose your jig/rigs 100% if you try casting into the rocks. Once they anchor, they're stuck at that spot, while I can slowly pedal around, probing every rock/crevice for fish. I hate to say it but man, it's great watching them watching me pull fish all day!

The 180 Mirage Drive will be amazing for this type of in-close fishing.
