When I cruised the country on motorcycles. We had a list of requirements covering states and countries.
IE: helmet, googles, age..... This was very helpful, when planning interstate travel.

Not sure how a list could be developed for non powered/kayak/canoe, each state requirement being accurate.

Good point, Mot. Regulations for kayaks do vary a lot by state, things like PFDs, registration with motors, and launch permits. Haven’t seen a full list anywhere, but a shared doc with input from paddlers in each state could be a great start.
