Hobie 16 Composite tip mast for sale.
I've been buying and renovating a few Hobie 16's and I have an extra comp tip mast available. It's in good shape but does not have any rigging or halyard. I've seen halyard setups for sale on EBay ($90) and West Coat Sailing ($126). A new comptip is about $2500 and I've seen a used one for $1100. I'm happy to see mine get used and only asking $400.
I live on Whidbey Island, WA, but I'm frequently in the Seattle, Bellingham, and Anacortes areas. I can bring the mast to a convenient location.
I have photos and a video to share with anyone interested.
PS: I have an entire good Hobie 16 for sale shortly (freshly painted hulls, aluminum mast, good sails and trampoline) and another in the fall 2025. Or the latter one can be your next project! I need to thin my fleet.
