 Post subject: Solved a mast issue

I routinely have to raise and lower my mast because of my location and route to open water. My main issue has been with the sail loop slipping off its notch and sliding down. I resolved this with handle-wrapping Paracord over the notch and the mast shaft. It worked great and Michael's craft store carries a great color match teal for my sail. Don't forget the blunt needle to make the wrapping go faster.

I 'm not sure I understand what the problem was, or your solution. Any chance you could post a few photos? May be worth a few thousand words in this case...
