... does anyone actually like that blue colour on the yellow sails?

Gosh... it has blue on the sail? Guess I mustn't have noticed... always looking back to see where the reddies are!

When Matt held a survey, 56% of respondents preferred Dune, 17% preferred yellow and only 6% preferred red, so yellow is about three times as popular as red

I guess those numbers make sense. More people buy Beige Camry's then Red Ferrari's. Nothing wrong with that. Some people like to go out for no nonsense cruise, some like to go really fast!!

And I'm glad that the blue doesn't bother most people. Personally, I'd have gone with yellow for the safety factor but between avoiding the blue that I personally don't like, and wanting to go fast like a red ferrari, it just made sense to go Red. :)

Even though I'm a red AI owner (speed freak 8) ), it's the contrast of the red on deep blue that doesn't work as far as visibility goes.

Just check out any red/dk blue signs in your area. Contrast just doesn't happen to any decent degree.

I chose the red to avoid the paparazzi.

After all this talk about chick magnets with the yellow AI/TI and red AI/TI's being faster it all make perfect sense that my wife chose the red TI. She loved the yellow sail and was just ok with the red sail; but I know now why we have ordered the Red TI. She didn't want me out in a chick magnet  . Its all to do with Jealousy, although I look like Shriek if I was to go out in a chick magnet well you know :!:

So I will have to deal with having the faster boat and stick with my wife (hope she does not read this thread :( ), I will be in BIG TROUBLE.

Daaa, you RED is faster dill's, stop kidding yourselves  . Scientific fact that red pigment colour is the heaviest pigment of all due to the amount of red "Iron" oxide, your AI/TI's are heavier and slower, sorry to say, they also lack the style of the sexy sleek chick magnet yellow & manly blue.

Gotta love blue, blue skies, blue water, blue sails, blue is the essence of pleasure.

Red means stop, I mean to say, how much slower can you get, "REVERSE" .

My AI has never failed me (she does seem to drink a lot), but I have failed her a few times and she has paid the consequence along with me.

As for the "cutting bow", not a flaw in design at all, it does exactly as it was designed to do, cut. Could it be a little better to possibly limit the depth to which it cuts and begins to dive, yes I think so and have passed on my thoughts to Matt, may still have a go at mine yet, but as it is a true moulded modification to the hull and not an attachment, am hesitant.

She is a great little boat that is extremely flexible in design and use, possibly the best thing I have owned, a TI might top her though   .
