I've done a Video of how to mount the Railblaza Tracport 500 starter kit to the Crossbar of my AI.

I hope this helps for those people that asked me how to do it.

Please excuse the poor quality of the video as I do not have a ton of time to devote to video editing.

Thanks for watching.

Great job Fred. Nice and tidy and very functional. If I hadn't already recess mounted my starports behind the crossbar, I would have definitely used your idea for mounting the trackport system.

Happy hunting.

Hey Paul
That was a lovely compliment. Many thanks, friend. I hope the Railblaza system works out for you as well.

Btw: careful: The only product so far that has gone sour on me is the Mobi VHF Radio fitting. It is badly designed and will not fit newer more enhanced models of VHF Radios.

Other than that so far so good

Best regards Paul
Fred

Nice instructional video - thanks for posting. I'm realling liking this mounting system.

At 9:33 when you went off screen to get the sanding drum I thought you got eaten by a dog :o

... was glad to see you made it back unharmed

WAY too funny!
That was my 'highly trained and deadly' English Springer Spaniel 'Finnigan'

Thanks for the kind words on the Vid. Even with only 4 screws it is rock solid (I guess I voided my warranty?) lol

Fred,

Yes, you voided your warranty and gave the makers of the Railblaza system all the information required to re-manufacture and market their product to Hobie.

That's the wonder of the Internet isn't it. If Everyone was worried about sharing information.....it wouldn't be much of an Internet would it?

If Railblaza wants to remanufacture it, well, then everybody who would install the product in the manner I showed will all void their warranties,

(What me worry, the boat works the way I want it and that's all that matters.) :D

Best Regards
Fred
