I had to get the right gear:
Right now an Oregon Scientific ATK9K. (not happy with this camera even though it seems to have the right features)
Just bought a Contour HD (nice, nice [you're bloody well right])
I've got 2 Contour GPS's coming over on Tuesday
and 3 Railblaza CameraBoom 600s hopefully before the summer ends fron NZ
I've also downloaded PowerDirector 9.
Odd I can grab vid from the ATK9K but nothing from the Contour HD in PD9.
These both produce .mov output but nothing works with the Contour HD.
Yes I know that the contours have their own very basic editing software, yet I'm used to more than the basics from years in still photography.
Any suggestions please? From anyone that uses a Contour friendly editing software package.
