Great name! My Hobie Getaway is named Firefly after the TV series, so my canoe is named Lightning Bug, staying with the theme.

Just make sure the Getaway isn't taken by the Alliance :o

I don't think the series made it downunder.
Sounded interesting though so I have ordered the movie on DVD.

My TI is called "SIC EM" because the purchase of it (and tow car with trailer) was funded by the sale of my Subaru WRX STi, which originally had SIC EM numberplates. In turn, I got the plates in honour of the expression "Sic 'em Rex" (WRXs are commonly referred to as Rexes), but also to salute a great TV advert for women's briefs called "Antz Pantz", where the model was lying there covered in ants, and said "Sic 'em Rex" to her anteater.

That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

PS. I later discovered that the phonetic of the expression is extremely vulgar in Turkish, so I had been unwittingly offending a portion of the population - I am undecided whether this was a plus or a minus!

Much better off with a TI than a Rex Tony - bit cheaper to run I bet.

I remember that ad as one of the greats.

That ad and the WRX are part of our culture so I'm sure no Aussies would be offended.

What I want to know is what Slaughter did to get his name? :)

I think about Betelgeuse the star when sailing my TI Betelgeuse.
Have my suspicions as to what you think about when sailing "Sic Em" Tony.
