Last year I stripped the AI down to Adventure mode and look it out to the end of the point for a fish. These were flying past less than 100m away and I've only just realised who they were. Little did I know, I was sharing the water with sailing royalty. The best of the best.

Lucky for them I was in Adventure mode.

Slightly different to the Moth's that I lusted after when I was a teenager. At the time I was sailing dad's Heron and a "Skiff" or "Scow" Moth was the go fast single handed young mans alternative. :)

I couldn't afford one then, I doubt if I have the skill or fitness  now!

Aah the Moth Foiler. Is there anything more impressive on the water, other than Slaughter in kayak mode of course?
I saw them a number of times last week as well Russ, when I was sailing out of Toronto.
Also see them often on Brisbane Water. The acceleration is jaw dropping when they lift up ....but they do spend a lot of time in the water trying to get back up when it all goes wrong. Not as forgiving as our Islands are!

Great video, Slaughter. Amazing really. I like the part where the 22 yr old kid sez something like, "Everyone can get out on the water, learn, and bring it back...." Of course, everyone.

I said to my wife that I need to take a permanent marker with me next time so that I can get some autographs on the front hatch cover.
She said "What are you 12 ?"
I took that as a compliment, turned my hat back to front and zoomed off on my skateboard.

Guys, I just spent 1.7M AUD of your tax money with Oracle for support for a year.
Thanks Slaughter, I now know it was well spent
