Had the AI 2 out Saturday and Sunday fishing and love it just as a kayak. It feels a little tippy in flat water or with a slow moving small swell but when in some choppy washboard waves caused by outgoing current in inlet with wind going in opposite direction it was very stable. Did a lot of vertical jigging and live bait fishing which requires a lot of moving around and reaching into tankwell and it was very stable. Had to leave earlier than those I was fishing with and had a 4 mile pedal back to launch site. 1 hour and 15 minutes I was back to launch site even with an interruption by a nice mackerel. There was a lot of large yachts going by in shallow water pulling some large wakes and it handled them very well. I would not have Ben able to have done that pedal in my PA in double that time and would have been dead when I hit the beach. Even my outback would have been tough. Getting everything worked out for AI mode for fishing and unless I'm really tied with having to stay near someone else that will be how I use it. Hoping some of the guys I fish with will pull the trigger and get one. If I didn't take others with me fishing I would probably sell the PA and the Outback. Already sold a Tarpon 160. Don't need that anymore for rough weather launches.
