There are three pairs of tapped holes on the top side of the forward aka brace on my 2015 TI. They appear to be the same spacing as the sail cleats and are maybe 6-32 or 8-32 tapped holes. I haven't heard anyone talk about using them so I'm wondering if they are new and if they are intended for additional cleats or something else ?

Thanks

Chris

Same as older boats. Optional cleat positions and likely in anticipation of accessory sails. At one point we were getting ready for a jib, but that kit did not make it to market. The amas and the main sail have features related to that. We are nearing completion of a reacher spinnaker kit which may use these features. Should be ready by fall.

Thanks Matt

Someone previously mentioned wanting to use cleated lines for ama security in case of shear pin break. Those extra mounting points might come in handy for that.
