I did what you are talking about based on the Fastlane example. See the thread below.
viewtopic.php?f=73&t=53232What I have found is that the HD scupper cart with tufftires and short cradle works better for me because I mostly solo. It saves having to go back to my trailer to store the large cart after the boat is in the water. The HD cart can be purchased in a size for the larger beach wheels. It's pretty easy to insert the cart after pulling the boat out far enough to expose the scupper holes near the rear mirage drive wells. I just set the stern of the boat on a cooler to keep it up in the air. After using the scupper cart a few times I don't see a compelling reason to have the full size cart and I no longer leave it on the back of the trailer because friction from the foam pads on the cradle makes it a lot harder to pull the boat out. The narrower wheelbase of the HD cart is not as stable but that doesn't present much of a problem.
With the boat on pvc bunks I can pull the boat out effortlessly.
I bring the big cart as a backup in the back of my vehicle because I have had some issues with defective wheeleez26 tires that came with the HD cart ( see my other posts about this ). I may change the urethane pads on the cradle cart to something slippery just so I can leave the large cart on the back of the trailer as a backup.
