Are there any review for this AI sail?
I'd love to hear them. $160 is unreal if it works well.

Exactly why I am asking.
It has been sold 11. Someone here might have bought one of them.

I have often wondered why the aftermarket sailmakers haven't come out with alternatives...

I think they will eventually. It all comes down to the available market for such products. With AI and TI models still being relatively new, the demand for replacement sails hasn't reached a high volume, yet. But with continued high volume sales and increasing age of the older boats, the demand will likely be enough that you'll see some aftermarket replacement sails before much longer.

I did see a post from someone that bought one for a 16. Said the sail wasn't too bad.

The thread I read said the bolt rope was too small, so not good.

That's the same one I read earlier this week. However, AI/TI sails don't have bolt ropes, so maybe a non-issue.

i think the reference to bolt ropes he mentioned was in the hobie 16 thread. there is no mention of bolt ropes in the sail makers literature.

Yes, but reflected on the quality / understanding of what is required in the design.
