Moon, wetsuits are a bit more comfortable without anything under them - I do wear a rash guard from time to time, usually only because I start off with the top of the wetsuit down around my waste - they do give a little bit more warmth, and are really not that uncomfortable if they fit tight. My wife sometimes wears a bikini under hers - you could easily wear some light water socks under the ankles. I do recommend the booties for the boat though, my favorite accessory and much needed when walking in and around the launch ramps, they are really rough on the bear foot - getting the boat in and out of the water. Keeps your feet warm and safe at the same time.

Moondancer, she went with a Rip Curl - 3/2 wetsuit. I personally like O'Neill - either way you can't go wrong, they are probably the 2 top companies in that area. We do wear booties, O'Neill;s, with the wedge between the big toes - they work awesome, are comfortable when peddling. We have gone 14-15 miles in wetsuits and booties and have been comfortable. In colder temps, we will use a spray jacket over the top with gloves, and wetsuit beanies over the ears, have been lobster fishing at night in low 40's and been totally fine for about 3-4 hours - not in the water but on the water

Thanks! I'll check them out!

Gotta try the booties. So many flipflops lost to the boat ramp in Port Washington, NY back in the day with my Hobie cats....

Hey there! One can obviously wear a wetsuit while swimming but majority of the women find them a bit uneasy as it restricts the free movements required for swimming. I know, some women are not completely comfortable wearing a bikini alone but what if you got the best body or a perfect bikini to flaunt right away and choosing a perfect bikini is tedious task. So go ahead if you got that all perfect stuff!
