Knowing the interest in adding power options (outboards / electric drives) to our islands....came across this home built option with a fair bit of power! 46 hour run time!

Wow. This guy is best described as a mad scientist. While what he accomplished is quite impressive, this is so not ready for prime time, and virtually no one is going to be able to replicate his work to make this in any way practical unless you too have your own milling machine.

That battery setup alone is a recipe for disaster. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it burst into flames spontaneously. You cannot simply ignore the safety requirements of powerful lithium-ion batteries like that. Even with all the incredible engineering and safety considerations at Boeing on the 787 Dreamliner, their lithium-ion batteries dangerously overheated. You just can't stuff a bank of lithium-ion batteries into a cheap plastic case like that. If just one cell fails it's going to be a serious meltdown.

Unless you're a Doc Brown, this has no practical application for the TI or AI.
