So Far, I think I need to extend the leading edge, Tall batton looks like it'll want to catch the Jib's Line. Going to test it out today.

The Captain approved, about 8-10kn winds and we has some good speed cruising along the bay. Quite a bit of bend in the mast so I'm thinking V2 should have side stays, and move the forward shackle further out. Also, having a vertical line by the mast was Very sub optimal. Will need to run the hoisting line forward to the Bowsprit when that's done.

Perhaps running a bamboo stalk through the mast to stiffen it up would work with minimal weight.

Still welcoming input.

v/r,

Mei
