All;

Sunday

1. Great ride < 10 knot winds top speed 6 MPH mostly around 4.5 MPH.
2. Need to change the aspect ratio on the main sheet so that Denise can run it. We agree that it is a two handed sheet.
3. Love the way it handled the 1.5-foot waves, we need spray skirts also.
4. We logged about 2 miles today before the wind quit.

Tell us where this was taken????????

Larryhts,

Looks like the Florida Keys to me, but could be elsewhere in Florida.

Bob;

It was in Tampa Bay, that’s the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. We had a great day. We love the tandem.

Drop over to Maui and you can try mine. :)

(I know how you feel, it felt like forever waiting for my TI to get here.)

I think I just tied it a little too tight. I loosened it just a little, and it's looking fine now. I'm use to the AI where everything needs to be TIGHT and I've got to keep reminding myself that the TI is not just a big AI, but a whole different animal! :)

My batten will look like that in higher winds when I'm on a close reach. The mast is very bendy and the lower part of the sail distorts along with the batten. Once I get on a broader point of sail the batten flattens back to the way it should be.
