Rip on rear Trampolines

I've been following this subject closely as I was expecting delivery of my trampolines.
The arrived yesterday and thought I'd try to fit them before I go for a test sail this weekend. Just done this and I'm not sure if the design has been changed or I have assembled them incorrectly. The metal rod in the tramp trailing edge is right above the spare plastic bolt. (Sorry would attach a pic but dont have time to work it out)..I tried to tighten them up as far as I could and this is what I get.

You should note that my dealer had to wait for delivery as Hobie were out of stock. So maybe the design has changed and this is from the first batch.
Does anyone have white hooks that the bungee hooks onto when the tramp is stowed? I imagined they would be black as the rest of the tramp is but mine are white.

Mine are white too and I've had the tramps over a year. The Rod does rub on that spare screw and on my AI it broke the spare screw off while I was Hiked out ripping along at 10mph (GPS). The advice is to take off the spare screws and keep them with your spare parts kit in the gear bucket and put some line or something through the hole to attach to the ama so you don't lose the brace if the main screw gives out. The brace does not float and may not stay attached to the Ball.
