I love the spinnaker setup. It looks easy to raise and lower and tidy when lowered.

Maybe Hobie can employ something similar to their Island range. Hint, hint.

Here's my effort. If I can get it up on the Landie's roof rack anything else should be a breeze. I've just got a aluminium square "tube" with a "foot" bunged through the roof rack. Added a bit of padding and it's all good.

That's a great setup! I wish my car had proper gutters, so I could fit some serious roof-racks, but I have to make do with arty-farty Rhino racks! :-)

What kind of car do you have? Yakima and Thule make racks that fit just about any car. My Civic doesn't have rain gutters like the Land Rover, but the Yakima racks that I have grip the car extremely well.
