AI Tandem: Selling from an Empty Wagon???

Our local dealers I've contacted here in the northeast have pretty much told me that they have no plans on ordering a Tandem AI for stock. With a quoted introductory price of $4,699, it’d seem pretty silly to think a potential buyer would layout that much cash without seeing one before hand, never mind test driving one. Do the regional Hobie reps ever get their hands on newly released boats to take around to the dealers and show them off? Looking online, I see that Hobie isn’t listed as an exhibitor for The New England Boat Show for February 2010 in Boston. Maybe Hobie can give one to our dealer (an exhibitor) to bring to the show? So, short of flying down to dealer in Florida this winter, how would we be able to see & maybe test drive one of babies once they are available for sale?

It is typical for us to place boats in major shows for the dealers. Not sure at this point what shows this boat will be at though. Production will not start before January for this purpose.
