Matt,
I just received my Tandem Trailer Cradles. I am adapting my AI trailer to fit the Tandem.

How far back from the bow should the forward cradle be located?
What is the recommended distance between the forward and rear cradles?

I want to have the cradles installed on the trailer before the Tandem arrives so I can
trailer the unit home from the dealer.

Thanks

These have the same spacing as the AI... 67", but the cradle location is a bit more flexible. You could run the cradle a bit further forward if possible.

Matt,

I does that mean I can replace one set of my AI cradles and carry a Tandem without any other modifications to my trailer.

One set? Meaning an AI and a Tandem? The TI is wider (needs 48"). That would be the only issue... if the crossbars are wide enough. The new trailers that can carry two TIs are built with longer crossbars.
