After 4 months of waiting I just received notification that my new TI has arrived and is ready to pick up this weekend.
Whilst it has been great watching everyones video's and absorbing information, there is no substitute for getting back out on the water and doing it for real.
I'm looking forward to posting a few trip reports of my own and maybe catching up for a sail with a few of the local guys.

From one very excited camper !

Pete :D :D :D

hello first post , i have ordered my AI back in May was told by local dealer in nz it would be here by end of July, but end of July has come and gone and my dealer doesn't have a shipping date yet- so I ask is my dealer playing fast and loose with me ( I don't live in the same city has the dealership) or are there delays in either production or delivery of AIs in the AP region ? I too love the vids too but want to get on the water before spring gales arrive.

WNN, mine took 4 months too, ordered in March. Try hard to be patient - it will be worth the wait! 8)

Well I hope it gets here before October as the GST rise will add to the bill... I must say am am considerably annoyed at being given the date of arrival as end of July when clearly it wasn't going to be . More openness on the part of the supplier would have helped . Even bad news is news that i can work with , no news is just plain frustrating .

I received my Adventure Island today, I ordered Golden Papaya, and received one with a red sail and amas, to go with the Papaya body. I wonder who got a Red Boat with a yellow sail and Golden Papayas.

Bryan

The Papaya is the red boat and the Hibiscus is the yellow boat.

'Golden Papaya' may have confused the issue a bit, but should have been sorted prior to delivery by your Dealer IMO.

Nope... other way around.

Golden Papaya = Yellow
Red Hibiscus = Red

I am still waiting for my TI to come (End of Sept). After ordering the Red, my wife tells me I think I like the yellow now because I like the yellow sail (but I like the red boat). If my dealer would make the same mistake :D Red boat and yellow sail it would makke her happy :!: :!:

When we ordered out TI here in the States, the wait was a couple months for us - but seemed much, much longer.

It does seem for ever; the good news is that we are just coming our of winter, and it has been cold (its melbourne - so cold for us). But I look out at the sky and see a nice morning with a little wind and think I could be out on my TI. If I had it
