Securing the TI paddle(s) when tramps are installed.

When the tramps are on my TI, there is a strap on the tramp to hold the paddle down at the front but no strap at the rear. I put a 'leash' on the rear and was wondering if anyone has come up with a better solution to hold the paddle securely but also allowing it to easily be taken out for use.

The paddle clip on the rear aka, where the brace connects is meant to hold the rear of the paddle. On the AI, the paddle is too low to the water, but on the TI it seems to work in all but the roughest conditions.

TW, this is what I do for the AI, it may work for you.

I have a sturdy, adjustable bungee strung between the tramp clips (on each side of the boat). They serve several purposes, but the main 2 are:
1. To hold the port paddle in place (pushed out by the Amas, so I can now slide around freely)
2. For use as very low tech but very effective outhaul devices for the sail. Great for downwinders- but works on most point of sail.

I believe the paddle clip is not standard on older AI models, so some folks like me may not have one.

I bought one recently and decided NOT to install it cuz it just gets in the way of satisfactorily mounting my tramps. (And I have enough AI scars already).
