I have been curious about the AI and TI for a little while but was wondering about leg room comfort with longer legs. I am 6'6" size 14-15 feet, inseam 36. I have problems with many regular kayaks due to my size. Are the AI and TI pretty roomy boats or will I be really cramped up trying to pedal. Are there any taller AI or TI owners out there that are comfortable for extended periods of time on this kayak?

There's a  giant around here who can answer your question.

But I can tell you that you will want to remove the foot straps cuz your going to get blisters on your "little" toes with hooves like that.

And you will want the tramps, so you can stretch out in style and comfort.

I'm same dimensions as you and I use an AI with no problem. My feet are on the narrow side so I don't have a problem with the foot straps, but you might.

You can probably find one to test out near you

I'm wondering if you can swap out the pedals on the mirage drive. If so, perhaps you can swap them out for strap-in pedals designed for bigger feet. I wear size wide 12-13 shoes and I think I'm just about maxing out my TI's pedal straps.

My mother warned me about wearing my slippers (flip-flops) all the time... :)

I never liked the straps so I took them off as soon as I got them. Never could see a use for them.

I am 6'5" with a 36" inseam and have used both a lot. The AI would have plenty of room for you and the TI has even a little bit more in the aft cockpit. As others have said, the foot straps may cause you an issue, but those can easily be removed.
