High density polyethylene is slightly less dense than water, so a hull completely filled with water, without any fittings or passengers or extras would actually float on its own. Roadrunner has quoted the buoyancy of the TI's amas at 2 x 220 = 440 pounds in total. So, as long as the weight of the passengers, metal fittings, mast and sail and any extra gear on board came to less than 440 pounds, the answer is yes, it would keep floating. There have been a few instances reported on the forum of people thinking their AI was sailing sluggishly, only to discover the hull almost full of water when they landed.
