I was looking into adding the hobie evolve option, and learned that v2 is released with a solar charging port. My question is is there any plans to get Powerfilm (the solar mfg currently working with torqueedo)to create a custom solar panel for the AI that could be bungied between the akas? I think there is enough area to make a panels (2) that could push at 2-3.5 mph without drawing any amps from the battery. Torqueedos current solar panel seems a bit large at 36"x58", but has grommets for bungies, but It would be nice to know why Torqueedo is investing in the solar port on the hobie evolve model.
