Since the summer in Europe is quite cold and rainy I am thinking to spend a couple of days either in Florida or in Southern California coming January or February. Apart from the "Florida Bay Outfitters" on Key Largo I did not discover any AI- or TI-rental shop in US sunbelt regions (ocean or inland lakes). I would appreciate if I could get some advice. Thanks for the effort!

There are two outfitters that rent AIs or TIs near me in Florida. One is Estero kayak company and the other is on Sanibel Island. They are a Hobie dealer, I found that they rented when I was in the market for me TI. I then tried to buy one of their rental boats. :D

cheers,
j
