Just wanted to say hello. I am the proud new owner of a 2012 TI. I have been lurking on this forum trying to gain all the knowledge I can. Thanks to all of you, I have had two successful outings. Both close to 20 mile trips off the coast of Kauai Hawaii. The new boat is a blast to sail and simply an engineering marvel. I look forward to gaining much more knowledge and sharing future adventures with all of you.

Mahalo,
Royce (aka Outrider)

NOHUHU,
I'm good. I'm just amped to finally get one of these. I have been drooling over them for a couple of years. Ever since one cruised passed me in K-Bay. Looking forward to getting up to speed with fishing from it.

Royce

Hobie is a California company but Hawaii is the perfect place them for the Adventures.
Are you going to open a Kauai branch office of the Nohuhu Oceania Hobie Developmental Skunkworks?

Welcome Outrider!

These boats are great fun, especially in Hawaiian waters. And now you have a great dealer in your back yard (P&P). What more can you ask for!?! :D

Shhhhh,..... Shhhhh,..!

Fly4, we like to soften them up a little before "suggesting" they drill holes in their new plastic yachts.

( "It seemed a good idea at the time,.. " )

LOL. I WILL drill holes.. Just haven't quite decided exactly where they will be just yet. and Bob I bought it from P & P as soon as I fiugred out they were here. They didn't even have a sign up yet. We have been needing a Kayak dealer. They should do very well here. (No competition). What I love the most so far is a normal run on the OC-1 is to drive to Poipu and paddle downwind to Port Allen. Now I launch at Port Allen and sail to Poipu and Back. About 10 miles each way. We did get one hook up trolling a lure. It peeled off alot of line then straightend the hook leaving us only a scale as our prize. I was thinking ahead of time that this was a fresh water lure. Oh well. theres always later this week.

Did P&P move from the Big Island or is it expansion?
They will do well and not just the lack of competition. Great bunch.
I enjoy giving them my business when I can and it is nice to hear they are doing well.
Nohuhu, wait??? :o have to get your claws in him early so you don't have rogue competition.
