Hi
can anyone please let me know the max length of the 2015 AI with the amas folded in, as I understand that they now go back past the rudder.

Cheers.

I can only speak for my 2015 AI, but the amas, when folded in, do not extend beyond the back edge of the rudder. You can see a couple pictures on this page: http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=7276&start=675 Therefore, with the amas folded in, the boat would be 16' 7".

Many thanks Keith, much appreciated. Some image sites are blocked here at work so I've missed that at some point. I can see it on my phone though!

Picking mine up on Friday, I was worried for a moment that it wouldn't fit in the garage on the trailer with the amas folded.... not worried now :D

If it is a storage issue, you can easily take the amas off and lay on top of the main hull / crossbars.

Happy with that. Though it'll be sitting on a custom trailer in the garage with my Outback. I have 19' to play with.
