Does anyone use their AI / TI for spending a night on the water? This is something I used to do with my other boats when I was on a more than one day excursion and finding a camping ground along the way was uncertain. I'd like to do this with my TI to extend the range of my excursions without having to get back to the launch area before nightfall.

I came across this photo but with no additional information. This is what I had in mind:

I suspect it is one of these: http://www.tetonsports.com/Tents/tents.htm
but without another picture or two it is difficult to determine which one. Given that there are two four-slat hakas underneath each having somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 inches in width, I would guess the Outfitter XXL Quick Tent.

I will definitely be considering one of these for my own TI.

Kinja is right pro10s. That is a Teton Outfitter XXL tent, the same as what I use for sleeping aboard.

It sits on a Helinox stretcher located in 3 aluminium channels across the hull.
Lots of info and other ideas including hammocks in the sleeping aboard thread here:

Details on how I mounted the Helinox stretcher can be found around pages 27,28. Before the Helinox I used up to 5 haka to make a platform. Details from around pages 20 and onwards.
