Does anybody know whether Hobie gets it's masts pre-assembled (base and furler drum attached) or they assemble them themselves?

Where I am going on this is figuring out whether it is worth the time/effort to find a dealer to lean on to order a Tandem Island mast un-assembled: All the parts... mast halves, base furler drum.... but without the furler drum epoxied in place.

End game is indulging my little fantasy around running my AI-2 with a TI mast/sail....

We assemble. Not a good idea and we don't sell the mast alone.
