Aloha,

I live in a townhome, no trailers/boats allowed. I am getting a trailer for my TI, which is now stored on dry storage lot on Kaneohe Marine Corps base. My idea is to have a more central place to keep it on a trailer (I am getting soon). Will pay storage fee.

Thanks

TC

Man, that's a tough one TC. I know if there was room at my house, there'd already be a trailer there!

Storage units, or berths run 3-400 a month.

We store our cats at Kokokahi on the bay, for around $60. A few strings are attached. You could get an uncovered spot at the end of the line there but a boat like yours might disappear piece by piece. I could show it to you, though.

Most folks would love to keep their boat on the Marine base. But there is a small navy marina, close to aloha Stadium where you might be able to store the trailered boat and get to it quick. You can rent/sail monos there too (like Kbay).

If you were lucky enough to know someone with a covered spot in their home garage, that would be the way to go.

Send me your number offline, if you want to see our "Club".

Will just keep it at Marine base. I pay 60 a month. Just pick it up and haul if I want to sail in Kailua, Alawai..etc.

Yeah, lot's of theft. I had my hobie paddle stolen on the base, and it's a locked, fenced in dry lot. Must have been an inside job.

Thanks,

TC
