A youtube video titled "FULLY Rigged 2016 Hobie Tandem Island with Outboard MOTOR!" shows a prototype mechanism for elevating the mainsheet through fairleads using an H-Rail assembly for support. The prototype was developed by Victor from the Hobie Pro Staff, according to the video. This is a very beneficial improvement. Has Hobie designed an H-rail attachment to perform this same function?

Thanks,

I've been looking for something similar too. I did notice in a H-Bar video that there are two different crossbar tubes, one for the PA and the other for a Outback. In looking at some of the pictures, it looking like the tube just needs to be cut and holes drilled to fit it to the angle bracket. That logic should apply to all the tubes which would make it infinitely adjustable for the TI.

Hobie does say that the H-Bar is adjustable to fit most Mirage Drive Kayaks, so it may not be that big a deal to fit behind the rear seat. Having an H-Rail back there would be kinda handy.

The PVC one is interesting, I might try making one, until I can justify buying an H-Bar kit.
