Help with the rudder line and bungee

I have to change one of the two rudder line, the rudder down line that is controlled at the right side of the hull. It was broken close rear hatch and i think this is good because the 2 ffront like and bungee are not affectded, just I dont know how to reassemble them.
I changed the line starting fromm the rudder. I will join the new line wth the black line with a knot but what will i do with the black and the bungee? around the black line i have a little metal ring that i dont know how to use.
I think that a schema could help me more than words. can you draw it? thanx
