Hi everyone!Anyone has improvements for rudder for TI? Manual says if your rudder hardto control then you need to give the sail some relief, sorry i do not know the terminology, but is there any improvements can be made, i have already broken some steering levers?

Most often, if the rudder is hard to steer, the down-line is not cleated down hard enough

My steering was hard and I discovered my steering lines were twisted.

The number 1 reason for very hard force for turning the rudder handle..... rudder not full down and cleated.

Easy to check.

Go for a sail.

Confirm the rudder is fully down and tightly cleated. The rudder tip should be pointing straight down (if you were to see it under the water). Feel the force required to make turns.

Do the same but put the rudder halfway down (fully in the water, but with the tip of the rudder pointing to the rear (not down). Feel the force required to make turns.

This test should confirm if this is the main issue.
