Heya.
I recently bought a Tandem Island (to replace my 2 older Adventure Islands) and I'm bringing it up to speed with some maintenance.
I noticed that one of the Vantage CT Seats is 'stuck' in a fully reclined state and won't come back up.
I've opened up the back of the mechanism and found 2 things. The hog ring that holds the bungee to the linear gear had broken off. Fixable with a few micro cable ties. But the bungee itself is fully stretched out and has no pull left in it.
Any idea how best to fix this?
I've searched the forums here and only found 2 references to "vantage seat recline" - one that has a broken linear gear and the other, that describes just my problem, has no fix as the poster took it to a dealer to get repaired.
Any suggestions?
