Shred - Just got the package as a Christmas gift yesterday, so nothing to report yet. I probably won't get to use this until spring thaw. I ended up buying everything on Amazon. Individual items were cheaper elsewhere, but when adding up shipping costs from multiple sites vs one box from one site, Amazon came out ahead. My costs were as follows:

Drift Innovation HD170 Stealth Action Camera with HD Recording $169.00
Drift LLBAT Long Life Battery $25.18
Drift DBOOT Rear Silicon Cover $14.99
Drift DMIC External Microphone $19.99
Transcend 32 GB Class SDHC 10 Flash Memory Card TS32GSDHC10E $39.75

I also purchased an XShot2.0 with Kayak Mount for around $56 after disount. This is a telescoping camera mount that should provide reasonable over-the-shoulder documentation. See http://xshot.com/products/xshot-2-0-and ... unt-bundle
I am not sure about this camera mount solution yet, though. The DogBone from YakAttack may have been a better choice due to multiple ball joints providing more maneuverability / flexibility, but I was not aware of this option when I purchased the XShot 2.0. I hope to be able to report on how this all works by April when the water is wet again.

What camera mount are others using?

I am looking at options right now.In fact I have a bass boat to sell and then a Pro Angler purchase. My older Outback is nice but I want the PA.

I just discovered that the .MOV file type that the Drift camera uses cannot be opened by any of the usual multimedia apps that come bundled with Windows Vista. I googled around and found some posts suggesting various codec packs that could be installed to circumvent this problem, but after 6 hrs I am no further along. So, for those who are shooting and editing their own angler videos, what software do you use? I was hoping to find an online freebie for simple editing somewhere, but no luck yet. Mostly, I just want to cut out the boring parts.
