I think I found a good deal on a 2010 PA that is ready to fish. If you were to get this model, what additions would you add to it to make it 2011/2012. For example foam in the hull, steering upgrade, or front hatch seal. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

It sounds to me like you have most of the known issues covered. Maybe add the seat slider upgrade so that you clear the bait storage hatch!

seat slider upgrade is the best mod in my opinion. You have to realize your world on a kayak exists in a full 360 degree circle from where you sit. This mod doubles your storage capacity beneath you. Can't say enough good things about it.

The 2010 has the better steering position. Use it and get used to it - shouldn't take long. Plus, you have one additional rod storage location over the later models.
