Going to purchase a ff soon (don't know which one yet), but where do you guys recommend mounting it? I am a lefty so I was thinking on the right mounting board. I also thought about mounting it on the sailing mast. let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I have mine on a YakAttack GearTrac. The GearTrac's are clamped onto the side rail. This is just a temporary setup but it actually is kind of nice. I can easily take it on and off the boat.

Power your fish finder up and if it has it run the demo program. Sit in your yak and see where it seams to fit you. Look for easy viewing and a location that will keep it out of your way while using the kayak but still be reachable for any adjustment or programming. It basically comes down to where it fits you the best.
